never done one of these before. didnt put my name anywhere on here. figure out who i am.
I would like to take this oppurtunity to voice my concerns about people these days.
1.technology: yeah, ill admit its really cool to be able to connect with your friends in a matter of seconds: share pictures, instant message, myspace, e-mail, texting. But isnt there a time when we should say enough is enough? Instead of "i think im going to meet up with my friends and go on the computer with them all day..." how about " i think im going to meet up with my friends and were going to go get some fresh air and explore our world." it sounds kind of corny or something else (i dont care for the word "corny" much) but its true. Does our generation even know how beautiful this world is? No, we only know how beautiful our pictures are on myspace. And this isnt directed to the kids who are on the computer OFTEN. Its for the ones who the computer/cellular phones are their lives. And now i leave you with this challenge: next time you are thinking about going on the computer, how about you go take a walk instead? I dont care where you live, there is beauty to be found EVERYWHERE.
